Reflections
Writing on endometriosis, pain, body trust, medical uncertainty, and the emotional and relational effects that often go unseen.
There Is Another Way
Trying to conceive led me toward the endometriosis diagnosis that years of debilitating pain had not. In a moment when I felt deeply alone, I heard four words—There is another way. Those words became the beginning of finding medical care I could trust, learning to see my body differently, and trusting God before I knew how my story would unfold.
When Good Things Feel Out of Reach
After surgery for endometriosis, one woman was still carrying something the surgery could not remove: the fear that good things might never happen for her. Our work began with a gentle yoga practice and grew into conversations that helped her meet her body, diagnosis, and uncertainty with greater awareness and compassion.
Ten Years in Remission: What Healing Has Taught Me
When I think about being in remission for nearly ten years, I do not only think about pain leaving my body. I think about the life that slowly began to grow in its place — a life shaped by purpose, deeper self-understanding, spiritual trust, and a more compassionate relationship with my body. Healing has not been a straight line, but it has been a work of love: learning to listen, to care without control, and to let pain become information instead of identity.
Finding a Medical Care Team You Can Truly Trust
After years of dismissed pain and a surgery that did not bring relief, I learned how important it is to seek endometriosis care rooted in trust, skill, and feeling truly seen. This reflection is an invitation to honor both medical expertise and your own inner knowing.

A reflection on endometriosis, pelvic pain, and the body’s need for safety. Exploring the pelvis as a place of holding, this piece considers how healing may begin not through force, but through support, softening, and a more compassionate relationship with the body.
What Healing Did Not Erase
A personal reflection on living through endometriosis, infertility, grief, and the long journey back into relationship with the body. Ten years into remission, this piece explores what healing changed, what it did not erase, and why being deeply witnessed matters.
Before Pain Becomes a Plan, It Needs to Be Witnessed
A personal reflection on endometriosis, chronic pain, Lamentations, and why women in pain need to be witnessed before they are rushed into hope.
My Journey with Internal Family Systems: How Learning My Parts Helped Me Understand My Symptoms
What if symptoms aren’t just something to manage, but a message from an inner system trying to stay safe? For years, I lived in push-through mode—until Internal Family Systems (IFS) helped me recognize the parts behind my endometriosis experience: the stoic one that kept going, the tender one that needed care, and the one afraid of what my diagnosis meant. In this reflection, I share how inner relationship became a doorway to calm, self-compassion, and hope.
